Job role / duties
- LGV driver training for all licence categories up to C+E
- DVSA Module 3A testing
- Driver CPC practical demonstration training
- Classroom-based Driver CPC periodic training
- Associated training courses, including Category B+E (car + trailer) training and post-licence-acquisition familiarisation / refresher training.
- Pre-course, pre-employment and post-accident driving assessments.
- Internal training courses, including employment inductions.
- RTITB training on FLT
To be considered for this role you MUST:
- A Category C+E LGV licence, which must have been held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Previous LGV training experience, together with an understanding of the LGV test requirements.
- Experience of delivering classroom-based Driver CPC training courses.
- A hands on approach, with the ability to work under your own initiative, to deliver training courses within defined time-frames.
- Communication / People Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with candidates, colleagues and examiners in a friendly and professional manner, to achieve the desired results.
- A flexible approach: to ensure that we are able to satisfy the total training requirements of our valued clients, flexibility of working hours is required.
- Reporting skills: The ability to document course details and candidate progress on short course reports.
- Local geographical knowledge of the training course/test routes would be advantageous, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
