Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Head of Finance for a fantastic organisation based in Plymouth. This is a lead finance role reporting into Director level and will form part of their leadership team.
This role will take responsibility for the smooth running of the finance function, leading a small team and working closely with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key duties will include:
- Oversee monthly management accounts production
- Preparation of statutory accounts and management of annual audit
- Submission of other statutory reporting requirements
- Lead the budget setting process, including re-forecasting as required
- Business planning
- Submission of VAT Returns
- Cash flow management
- Monitor investments to ensure the best ROI
- Present and communicate financial information to various budget holders across the organisation
- Work with the leadership team towards achieving the strategic vision
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of working in managerial role within finance. You will enjoy working collaboratively in a positive working environment and be an excellent communicator.
