Litigation Paralegal

Based: Alconbury

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Litigation Paralegal. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our legal team by producing necessary documentation, conducting legal research, and providing administrative assistance as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing legal documentation as required, including drafting basic deeds, documents, and letters.
  • Drafting financial statements and engaging in legal research as appropriate.
  • Undertaking basic correspondence and telephone calls on client matters.
  • Efficiently managing client/matter files, including filing, archiving, retrieval, and updating relevant databases.
  • Providing administrative support to the team, including scanning, faxing, printing, document binding/bundling, and photocopying.
  • Operating case management systems and storing documents electronically.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, and facsimile transmissions.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of all company and client documentation and information.
  • Maintaining client relationship management data and records.
  • Monitoring compliance and Lexcel requirements.
  • Assisting with good financial management as needed.
  • Assisting with reception of clients and arrangement of meetings.
  • Handling queries and enquiries from fee earners, team coordinators, secretaries, and clients.
  • Transcribing digital dictation.
  • Supporting the wider team and assisting with work as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a legal administrative role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of legal procedures and documentation preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
