Maintenance Officer

We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. This role is essential in providing a safe and efficient environment for all users of the building.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including minor repairs, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance officer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Familiarity with health and safety practices and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining digital records.
