Location: Yate, Bristol, BS37 5NG (Yard Based)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum + OT (Dependent On Experience)

Job Type: Full – Time, Permanent (40 Hours PW, Monday – Friday)

WH Bence has been in business for over 30 years as specialist coachbuilders. Contracts include the manufacture and conversion of vehicles for the emergency services, command & control vehicles, hospitality trailers, racing trailers and mobile medical units. Bence also provides full after sales back-up and servicing throughout the UK and Ireland.

Due to expansion, WH Bence is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning installation Engineer. We are looking to increase our team of engineers which look after units throughout the country, providing preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs.

Air Con Engineer – The Role:

Due to expansion, WH Bence is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer. We are looking to increase our team of engineers which look after units throughout the country, providing preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs.

Air Con Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete workshop based commercial Air Conditioning Installations
  • Carry out onsite repairs and maintenance on A/C equipment
  • Attend off site equipment breakdowns and repairs
  • Attend on site and off site routine maintenance visits
  • Field breakdowns over the phone and assist service engineers with phone support
  • Maintain and order all necessary filters and parts for stock and ongoing repairs
  • Ensure job cards are requested from third party visits and uploaded onto company software
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on air con equipment
  • Attend routine maintenance visits
  • Work with third party suppliers to develop and improve existing and new air con systems
  • Monitor air con emails and reply accordingly, working with WH Bence service support

Air Con Engineer – You:

  • Preferable 5 years' experience FGAS qualified engineer
  • Previous experience in servicing and installing A/C units is essential
  • Must have mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Be able to use own initiative to conduct fault finding
  • Must hold a full UK Driving License as this position involves travel
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining chiller systems, particularly water chiller and refrigeration, is desirable but not a necessity
