An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients at Tradewind, for a passionate and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Islington. They are seeking a qualified individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and is committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate continuous provision and create an engaging learning environment for Nursery-aged children.
- Support learning through play, implementing creative and age-appropriate activities that align with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
- Conduct assessments in accordance with Early Years milestones, providing valuable insights into each child's development.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to contribute to the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons and activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and development of each child, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a Nursery setting.
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
