The Role

The Senior Chain Lead is responsible for ensuring efficient working methods and procedures within the planning team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing team performance,
  • Adjusting processes,
  • Coaching and guiding team members,
  • Managing key issues
  • Preparing KPI reports.
  • Collaborating with other departments,
  • Optimising production capacity,
  • Monitoring product availability,
  • Participating in cross-functional projects

The Person

We are looking for candidates who display the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong professional experience in planning - preferably in Food /Drink Industry
  • Previous managing people experience preferred
  • Business Degree / or CIPS / Part Qualified
  • SAP Experience preferred , or experience in capacity planning on in ERP systems
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills required
  • This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will have some direct reports.
  • This individual will be required to work closely with Production and other functions to ensure the KPI's are met
