A rapidly growing organisation based in the City Centre of Birmingham is currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller on a permanent basis. In the role, you will be working with a small credit team and will report into the Credit Manager.
Please note this role is an office-based role
Your new role
- Manage your own ledger and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Proactively communicate with customers to resolve payment issues
- Resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to invoicing or payment
- Improve credit control policies and procedures to minimise the risk of bad debt
- Cash allocations and manage any queries
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong previous experience in Credit Control
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Sage
