Alexander Lloyd are delighted ot partner with this South East based organisation on their search for an HR Director to lead the development and delivery of the organisational strategy through driving people capability. Specific accountabilities:
- Lead the development of the people strategy and delivery plan, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
- Actively partner with the ExCo to ensure a deep understanding of the strategic plan, using expertise and knowledge to identify the people interventions that enable , support and drive delivery needs of the business area and that people interventions are pragmatic and fit for purpose .
- Work collaboratively with the HR CoEs to ensure the people interventions designed and delivered are timely, and support delivery of the business strategy.
Ideally Level 7 CIPD qualified (or qualified by experience), the skills and job knowledge/experience are essential in this job are:
- Proven experience as a Senior HRBP / HR Director in a highly operational, unionised organisation.
- Commercially able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how to align the people plan to support the delivery of the strategic plan.
- Highly data literate - confident to interrogate large / complex data sets to identify insights that drive people interventions that employee engagement and high performance.
- Exposure to and understanding of, contracting and working in partnership with other HR CoEs to deliver core HR activities and services.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and effect influential working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
