Handle Recruitment are working alongside a leading Live Events Company in recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work in their expanding team. The role will sit within a dynamic accounting function and report directly into the finance manager working closely across supporting all the live events and productions.
Suitable for a candidate studying AAT, the overall responsibilities will include:
- Handling accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Performing bank reconciliations including foreign currencies.
- Preparing weekly payment runs for supplier payments.
- Processing staff expenses and credit cards.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Preparing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections
We are looking for someone who is competent, self-motivated & trustworthy, who also has a bright and enthusiastic personality! You must have a real passion for the live events industry and be an all round good egg!
The ideal candidate will have had exposure to an accounting function and office environment within media or entertainment. Computer literacy should include an excellent working knowledge of Excel. xero & sage 50 systems is desirable.
