Blueprint Recruitment are looking for a talented Graduate to join a renowned environmental engineering company on a permanent basis in Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a variety of exciting water, drainage and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering, scientific or environmental discipline, preferably with experience with an engineering design software (AutoCAD or MicroDrainage), however the chosen candidate will be provided with full training, with flexible/hybrid working available.

**Key responsibilities
- Supports engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations
- Provide general project support including site surveys, attendance at project meetings, assistance with site inspections and general representation of the Company outside of the office.
- Provide complete technical management of projects as directed by your line manager.
- Carry out assessments of both private and commercial wastewater treatment facilities including inspections, surveys, reports and recommendations.
- Carry out foul and surface water drainage design as well as Flood Risk Assessments.
- Develop scheme designs as reasonably required by your Line Manager (and Senior Engineers when required) to include environmental, civil and general arrangement design as appropriate.
- Prepare technical drawings on paper and digital format to general Company standards and to the particular requirements of the Line Manager and Senior Engineers, as applicable.
- Supervise / undertake the plotting and issue of technical drawings; maintain drawing issue sheets and record copies in a tidy and ordered state.
**Key requirements
- Advanced use of standard Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Use of engineering design software (e.g. MicroDrainage, AutoCAD) would be advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
- Degree in relevant engineering, scientific or environmental discipline.
