Are you passionate about early years education and supporting the development of young children? Do you have experience working in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting and helping to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an EYFS Teaching Assistant at a dynamic primary school in South Liverpool.

The Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the EYFS team and helping to deliver high-quality early years education. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to children, helping them to develop key skills and reach their milestones.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
  • Assisting with the assessment and monitoring of children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the overall well-being and development of each child.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an EYFS setting.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to providing the best possible start for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and a child-centered approach to teaching and learning.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
  • hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
