Group HR Manager

Reed HR is delighted to support our long-established client and a leading employer in their sector who wishes to recruit an experienced HR Manager due to expansion and continued growth of the business.

This is a new exciting role for the group where you will be part of the senior management team, report to Directors and be the contact for all HR related matters across local sites.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to management and employees across the group
  • Build trust, credibility and positive working relationships with the management team and employees
  • Support, coach & develop line managers to build effective teams and to manage the performance of their employees through positive communication and engagement.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and consultation on all aspects of the employee experience
  • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate HR Policies and Procedures in line with best practice, legislation and organisational requirements.
  • Contribute to the group talent / succession planning and end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Support management with the on-boarding plan for all new employees and ensure performance reviews are completed
  • Manage and advise on all Employee Relations issues
  • Review, update and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legislation, best practice and company values
  • Provide HR reporting for senior management
  • Monitor and manage sickness and absence, ensuring appropriate action is taken to address any issues
  • Drive Employee engagement, Health & Well Being and support a positive working culture
  • Address staffing issues outside office hours if necessary to co-ordinate cover utilising agency staff where necessary.

The Person:

  • Preferably Educated to degree level and CIPD qualified.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong HR Generalist experience and good current knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and people management skills
  • Must have a full driving licence and access to vehicle.
