DT Technician (Design & Technology) - Immediate Start
Location: Secondary School, Greenwich
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a DT Technician at a vibrant secondary school in Greenwich. This role is available immediately and is full-time with a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teaching staff in delivering engaging and practical Design & Technology lessons
- Preparing, setting up, and maintaining equipment and materials for lessons, including machinery, tools, and other resources
- Ensuring all equipment and tools are maintained to high safety standards
- Assisting students during practical sessions, ensuring they work safely and efficiently
- Managing and organising stock and resources in the department
- Supporting in the maintenance of displays, classroom setups, and workshops
- Ensuring the workspace is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the general upkeep and organisation of the DT department
Requirements:
- A passion for Design & Technology and a willingness to learn
- Experience as a DT Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Strong practical skills and the ability to handle tools and machinery safely
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team
- A DBS certificate on the update service is required
- Ability to work independently and with initiative when necessary
