We are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Training Manager to take overall responsibility for the college's apprenticeship provision and courses delivered. This role involves operational management of the apprenticeship team and the commercial performance of the department, ensuring outstanding outcomes for all students.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Lead the strategic development of the college to deliver high-quality training programmes.
  • Align apprenticeship delivery with employers' skills requirements and establish strategies to diversify income.
  • Identify tendering opportunities and prepare successful bids to maximise income.
  • Manage the CRM system to support sales, forecasting, and marketing activities.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve income, contribution, and KPI targets.
  • Manage customer relationships to build strong connections and increase revenue.
  • Ensure effective enrolment processes and robust initial assessments for learners.
  • Produce annual business plans, manage budgets, and report on targets.
  • Maintain awareness of funding rules and operate the college's Quality Assurance policy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent vocationally relevant qualification.
  • English and maths qualifications minimum level 2.
  • Teaching and management qualifications.
  • Assessor/verifier qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience in resource management and customer relationship management.
  • Track record of tendering for and gaining new business.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams within an education/training organisation.
  • Knowledge of funding methodologies and CRM systems.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse new business opportunities and apply the college's curriculum to meet employer needs.
