Role and Responsibilities:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the tools and encouragement to thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students in various subjects.
  • Adapting teaching materials and methods to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting students in developing social skills and managing their behavior.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and promote student progress.
  • Encouraging independence and boosting the self-esteem of students through positive reinforcement.

Requirements:
