A large Consultancy has a need for a Experienced Building Surveyor with Cad skills to work on a maintenance contract for a large government department, for a 3-month period initially.
The Role
Working on a framework for delivering office refits, from RIBA stage 2, with stages 2-4 having to be completed within a very tight programme.
The works are fairly minor in nature - a tea point relocation / refresh - but high volume
*The small schemes would typically require an architectural layout and an electrical / plumbing layout.
Travel will be kept to a minimum, so site progress meetings are done remotely wherever possible with the site team providing a video or 3d model of site progress, but having said that some travel will be required, and sites are likely to be UK wide but potentially mostly in the Midlands/North.
About You
You will need to a qualified Building Surveyor or hold an architectural qualification.
You would need to be up-to-date with the latest amendments to the building regulations to be able to identify works that require building regulation approval and fall under the latest Principal Designer requirements, and have the necessary experience / qualification to undertake that role.
This role is for 3 months initially and will be covering the Midlands and North region.
What you'll get in return
Weekly pay, holiday pay and pension if PAYE, or Umbrella. This is inside IR35.
