We are working alongside a brilliant school in Slough that are seeking a passionate individual to take on the role of Behaviour Support Mentor. The role is a full time position starting in September 2024 in the Slough area, supporting students with additional needs facing behaviour challenges throughout the school day.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Mentor:
- 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
- Identifying triggers for episodes of challenging behaviour
- Implementing effective regulation tactics
- Setting targets for pupils to work towards
- Contribute to staff meetings (share observations and input on care plans)
- Keep students motivated and engaged in lessons
