The Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming secondary school in Sale. As an SEND LSA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting SEND students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with SEND students to provide tailored support and guidance.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum and educational materials.
- Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Promote positive behavior and engagement among SEND students.
