DT, RM - Wandsworth - September 2024
We are looking for a Teacher of Design Technology (specialising in Resistant Materials/Product Design) for a remarkable school in Wandsworth.
Start date: 2nd September 2024
Salary: Pay will be equivalent to that of a permanent staff member (MPS/UPS for Inner London).
This is a temporary post for a minimum of two terms, ideally 4 days per week (or F/T 5 days possible).
- The successful candidate must have experience teaching KS3 general DT and KS4 GCSE Product Design.
- The ability to teach KS5 A Level Product Design (Art and Design specification) would also be desirable.
- This is a full teaching commitment, including Tutor Group, marking, exam group responsibility and the usual whole school activities.
DT is a very popular subject at this school with a very high uptake at GCSE
- The DT department and Workshops are well equipped with state of the art, modern specialist DT facilities.
- This highly funded and excellently resourced department has a large team of supportive teaching staff and technicians.
If all goes well, this could also lead to a permanent opportunity in January 2025.
