We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher for a long-term position starting in September 2024 and continuing until December 2024.

Job Description:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics to students across various year groups. You will plan and implement lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the overall academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Develop and implement a Mathematics curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and aligned with school standards.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and exam requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
