Our client is a prestigious school based in Central Cambridge. They are currently looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to support their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role which would suit a strong administrator who has an interest in finance.
Main duties will include:
- Purchasing and procurement
- Processing school fees
- Prepare budget reports
- Petty cash management
- Manage school charity accounts
- Monthly reporting on utility usage
- Financial management relating to school trips and events
- Any other admin support as required, including occasionally cover reception
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a busy office environment
- Ideally some experience within finance or highly numerate and good analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience within a school is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
