Handle are delighted to be working with a creative agency in their search for a part time finance manager we are looking for a friendly, confident and practical pair of hands to come in and support our experienced head of finance. Ideally you can easily commute to the office, as the plan is to work 2 days a week there with the team and the rest from home.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the month end accounting, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and other month end tasks
- Management of sales ledger and credit control
- Prepare and post month end journals including prepayments,fixed assets, accruals, and provisions
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including aged debtors, aged payables.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Submission of MTD Quarterly VAT Returns
- Preparing various management and month end reports
- Supporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks and production of general financial information
Skills
- System use (preferred but not essential) - Xero, Procium, Microsoft Excel
- Confident communication skills
- Team player, flexible and adaptable
- Ideally 2-3 years experience minimum working as part of a finance team
- Prior experience with VAT and reconciliations
- Prior Agency experience
