DevOps Engineer

The role:

You will join a team that covers a mixture of project and BAU work across platforms and applications. Your clients are household names, so this team is always looking for new innovative solutions to improve the experience on the platform/application. Automation is key in this team's activities, and they want to see what boundaries they can push to offer the best service possible.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of key systems used by thousands of daily users.
  • Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
  • Troubleshoot issues and streamline processes to enhance system reliability.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support client workflows.
  • Continuously improve your technical skills through industry training and certifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes is desirable.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as PowerShell, YAML, C#.
  • Solid grasp of networking, security, and system administration principles.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools and concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a readiness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation, with additional compensation.
