Mechanical Fitter
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for your next career move? This company, a leading manufacturing business in Llanelli, South Wales, is seeking a proactive and practically-minded Mechanical Fitter to join their highly skilled and knowledgeable engineering teams.
This role would suit someone who previous experience working with Car Engines either in a workshop environment, or someone that does this as a Hobby in their spare time.
This role would also be a good fit for someone who has worked with sports car, has a passion for motorsports or maybe has a degree in Automotive / Motorsport Engineering.
The ideal candidate will be practically minded, proactive and have a strong attention to detail. You will be supported with training courses where necessary, the support of highly skilled and knowledgeable engineering teams and performance reviews with line managers. This is a great opportunity to work in a rapidly growing sector of the industry.
We are looking for someone who is mechanically competent and able to assemble and disassemble engines, has experience with hand and power tools including ratchets and spanners, and someone who is happy getting their hands dirty.
What You Will Do:
- Work on internal combustion engines
- Read and understand engineer drawings
- Use hand and power tools daily including spanners and torque wrenches
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collect data via mechanical and electronic equipment
- Test, data gathering and analysing to report out on findings (internal software tools, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Report out on project progress
- Feedback diagnostic application improvements
- Final validation and sign of off software and hardware for release
What You Will Bring:
- Previous experience with Engines
- Mechanical background and previous experience using hand and power tools
- Full UK Driving License (preferably a clean license)
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with expert knowledge of Mechanical Fitting or Mechanics. In return for your experience, this company will offer you:
- Full time permanent contract
- 37 hours per week
- Annual salary up to £30,000 per annum dependant on experience
- 31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Contribution pension
