HR Assistant

Reed HR have partnered with an established financial services company in West Sussex who are seeking an HR Assistant to join their close-knit HR team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about human resources and is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Hours: 21 hours per week.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR team in managing recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, managing applications, and organising interviews.
  • Help in administering payroll and benefits.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Assist in the coordination of training sessions and seminars.
  • Work closely with other departments to help promote a positive organisational culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification is desirable.
  • Proven experience as an HR assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
  • Understanding of employment laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
