A prestigious law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate (1-4 years PQE) to join their Real Estate team based in their central London office. The successful Real Estate Finance Associate will demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all commercial property work and have a keen commercial awareness.
The firm handles a variety of high-quality work, acting on behalf of bridging and high street lenders, as well as borrowers.
The Real Estate Finance Associate's Role
The successful Real Estate Finance Associate will join a dynamic and supportive team. They will have broad experience in a Real Estate Finance/Real Estate seat, showing ambition, initiative, passion, commercial acumen, and team spirit. The Real Estate Finance Associate can expect to handle a broad range of commercial property work in a collaborative environment.
The Real Estate Finance Associate
- Provide high-quality legal service to all clients
- Develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining the confidence of clients and other professionals
- Handle requests for legal advice from current and potential clients, making appropriate decisions on responses
- Offer advice on the law, legal procedures, and a wide range of associated issues
- Attend and represent the firm at client meetings
Duties Include
- Acting on behalf of both lender and borrower clients
- Drafting security documents including mortgage deeds, debentures, and facility agreements
- Obtaining and reviewing legal packs
- Reviewing title documents - both residential and commercial
- Raising enquiries on legal packs
- Drafting Reports on Title - including residential and commercial lease reports
- Working to very short time frames
- Liaising with and reporting to clients on a weekly basis
- Achieving billing and time recording targets
