Bookkeeper

Reed Accountancy are working with a growing practice in search of a Bookkeeper to work with a variety of business sizes, ranging from sole traders to multinationals.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct VAT preparation using various software systems.
- Manage personal tax preparation and accounts preparation.
- Communicate tax liabilities and other financial details to clients via telephone, email, or in person.
- Ensure all financial deadlines are met and returns are filed accurately and punctually.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with external bodies.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette and client service skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an Accounts role, including VAT and Personal Tax.
- Proficiency in computer skills, with a preference for Iris, Xero, Excel, and Sage.
- Strong data entry skills, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and manage time effectively.
- Strong organisational skills to uphold a structured and efficient work environment.
