About the Role:
A highly skilled and motivated Property Management Surveyor is sought to join a growing team. The role involves overseeing the management and maintenance of a property portfolio, ensuring efficient operations and maximising asset value. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement property management plans to optimise asset performance and maximise rental income.
- Negotiate lease agreements and liaise with tenants to address their needs and concerns.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective property maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor property budgets and expenses, providing regular reports to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in property management, with a focus on commercial or residential real estate.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work effectively under pressure.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is preferred but not required.
- Experience: 3 years in Property Management (required)
