A Female Rehabilitation Support Worker is required to join a specialist case management and rehabilitation company providing Support Work, Case Management, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Medico Legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland. We are driven to help our clients recover skills lost through complex life-changing conditions, so they can live meaningful, rewarding lives.

What you'll do as Female Rehabilitation Support Worker?

You will be required to work with a lady with an acquired brain injury which she sustained in a car accident in her own home and the community, as part of an established team. You will be supporting our client to attend regular weekly activities, as well as going out for tea, coffee and a chat! You will be helping with

personal care and all aspects of daily living.

Sense of humour and good banter essential!

We're looking for a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker with:

  • UK Driving licence is essential.
  • You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)

All new starters take part in a peer-reviewed induction program through probation, as well as ongoing supervision. We provide bespoke in-house training, as well as sourcing specialised client-specific training.

Some of our training courses include:

  • Acquired Brain Injury.
  • Medication.
  • Mental Capacity & Safeguarding.
  • Moving and Handling.
  • Postural Management.
  • First Aid.

The salary for the role is £12.00-£13.00 per hour depending on experience plus full supervision including regular formal meeting opportunities, Company pension, Participation in our Better Health at Work Scheme, Company events, social activities and celebrations.
