Finmere– Buckinghamshire

45 hours working week (Mon-Fri)

£50,000 - £60,000 DOE

+ 33 days holidays including bank holidays, pension scheme, company car, health benefits cashback plan, laptop, mobile,subsistence allowance (when working away from home)

We are specialist providers for multimillion £ turnkey solutions, Quarrying, Aggregates, Groundworks, Large Scale Groundworks and Road Construction.

We are involved in interesting projects such as 3 sectionsof the HS2 rail link and A5 expansion in Northern Ireland, in addition tomultimillion £ turnkey quarrying projects. New diverse and challenging projects are coming in the work pipeline, and we need someone experienced in remediation and stabilisation/quarry management to support the business.

As a Work Manager, you will be working in conjunction with the Project Manager and Divisional Director to control aspects of operations of the processing site and its assets in the most efficient way to ensure the highest quality output of the site.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure the resources run in a manner that is both safe and efficient
  • Managing operators to maximize output safely
  • Managing the site to ensure that all work is carried out to high standards
  • Ensuring contractor is visiting the site have the correct paperwork and are carrying out all works in a safe manner
  • Communicating in morning meetings and toolbox talks
  • Reporting any on-site issues to the line manager and ensuring they have a solution in place
  • Completing daily allocation sheets and record tonnage processed
  • Regular inspection of machinery to fault find and determine defects within the plant – carry out minor repairs and report further defects via the defect app or line manager
  • Ensuring paperwork is completed correctly and on time
  • Maintaining good contract / client relationships
  • Ensuring the general cleanliness of the site environment is kept to good standards

Required Experience / Skills

  • Experience with Crushers, Screeners & Washers.
  • Experience in completing RAMS and site supervision
  • Plant tickets or other competencies
  • HSE certificates
  • Computer literacy
  • Site Manager Gold Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Clean license
