SEN Teaching Assistant
- Salary Range: £85 - £110 daily, depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a special educational needs (SEN) school in Ealing. This role involves working with primary-aged children who have severe learning difficulties, autism, high sensory needs, and challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide tailored support to primary-aged students with a range of SEN.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Assist with the development and delivery of engaging and accessible learning activities.
- Support students with high sensory needs by creating a safe and stimulating environment.
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively and with sensitivity.
- Encourage independence and social integration among students.
- Monitor and record students' progress, reporting back to teachers and parents as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with children with severe learning difficulties, autism, high sensory needs, and challenging behaviour.
- Understanding of the primary education system and SEN framework.
- Ability to build rapport with children and adapt to individual needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a resilient approach to challenging situations.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
