Our client is looking for an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team, the role will be around Audit and Accounts. As a Semi Senior you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Begin to take ownership of client engagements with support from your managers.
- Support in delivering high quality audit, accounts preparation and corporation tax services.
- Begin to develop enduring client relationships.
- Involved in the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, either in the office or on site at client premises
- Responsibility for assisting with planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and?sufficient?documentation
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager
- Understand how VAT returns are prepared and be able to review and submit a return
- Help with the preparation of Management Accounts with a view of preparing these monthly or quarterly without assistance.
What we looking for:
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent part qualified with three years of experience in accounting and Audit.
- Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP/FR102
- Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries
- Knowledge of Xero, CCH, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext
