Group Key Accounts Sales Manager

  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are looking for a Group Key Accounts Sales Manager with a proven track record of supporting, developing, and growing a successful sales team. The ideal candidate will have a background in account management and the ability to manage our clients effectively. This role requires a highly motivated and ambitious team player who can lead by example and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, engineering excellence, and financial expectations.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop, manage, and support the Key Accounts Team including onboarding, performance management, training plans, development, and mentoring.
  • Build a positive culture and work environment with a focus on team wellbeing.
  • Lead and manage the key accounts team to ensure delivery of company sales targets and growth with new recurring revenue, remedials, and project opportunities.
  • Define and support a strategic approach to drive proactive upselling and cross-selling to the existing customer base.
  • Gather and maintain accurate market information for informed decision-making and identification of new tender opportunities.
  • Analyse key data metrics to understand conversion rates, average order values, and identify sales trends and pinch points.
  • Manage account and client allocations and lead effective reviews as part of strategic account discussions.
  • Support key account managers with quarterly and annual reviews with clients.
  • Identify training needs to increase confidence and ability in the Fire and/or Security Sector.
  • Conduct performance reviews and facilitate employee development plans.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and integrity aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales team development and account management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and implement sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the Fire and/or Security Sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
