Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Trainee QA Technician. This is full time and permanent role for the right candidate and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee QA Technician to join quality assurance team. As a Trainee QA Technician, you will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills through a structured training program. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in quality assurance and work on ensuring the highest standards of product quality in a supportive learning environment.

Main Duties:

  • Learn to identify and troubleshoot defects in PCBs, employing systematic approaches to fault finding.
  • Gain practical skills in soldering for surface mount components, understanding the intricacies of handling and placing delicate components on PCBs.
  • Electrical and electronic product testing to ensure that the product meets the requirements of technical specifications.
  • Perform administrative tasks crucial to the QA department's operations, including the preparation of detailed observation reports.
  • Processing of customer returned products from receipt through to final resolution to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Acquire knowledge about our business operations, focusing on the standards and procedures the QA department adheres to, ensuring compliance and quality excellence.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the QA team, supporting departmental objectives and contributing to the wider business goals.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions with fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

Person Specification
