The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director, the Assistant Accountant will have a wide remit of responsibilities ranging from purchase and sales ledger through to credit control duties.
Further duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will include:
- Analyse financial transactions to identify trends, anomalies and, or areas of improvement.
- Manage prepayment entries
- Support on Business Partnering departments across the business
- Processing monthly accruals and prepayments
- Monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Assistance with reporting and resolving issues with the finance system to support the team.
- Monthly Payroll
The Candidate
To be considered for this Assistant management accountant position we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- CIMA /ACCA part qualified
- Previous experience working within a finance function
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with other team members to ensure work is delivered on time
- Results driven and detail oriented individual
