Credit Control Manager (6-Month Contract)
Are you ready for a new challenge as a Credit Control Manager? Based in Colchester with the benefit of hybrid working flexibility, this six-month contract offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 FTE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a small team, setting weekly targets and objectives to drive success.
- Budget Review & Analysis: Analyse budgets across different business lines to ensure financial efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with acquired businesses to standardize and streamline processes.
- Procedure Development: Implement new procedures to improve daily workflows and alleviate pressure points.
- Resource Maximisation: Optimise staff resources and identify training needs.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
- Collection Policies: Develop and implement consistent and effective collection strategies to maximise cash collections and reduce overall debt.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in a managerial role within credit control, with solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance practices.
- Qualifications: A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) with strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage people effectively, with in-depth knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and strong reporting skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of business principles and a solid grasp of Microsoft applications.
