We are looking for a talented, experienced Business Development professional to join this well established, highly reputable international law firm, to be based out of their office in London.

This firm has a hugely successful track record and a culture that is supportive, collaborative and inclusive. They have an impressive portfolio of clients, and ambitious plans in place for continued growth and success.

This Business Development Manager role will be responsible for the management of a team of 4 in London, and will require an experienced people manager who has a supportive, coaching style and a passion for developing people.

This Business Development Manager role will have a varied remit and will take ownership of the strategic development and execution of the BD plan for London and EMEA, working in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Horizon scanning and identifying opportunities for profile raising initiatives
  • Developing best practice for the BD function
  • Collaborating with the events team to deliver innovative events across the region that set the firm apart from the competition
  • Project management of the awards and submission process
  • Creation of high impact marketing campaigns
  • Identifying opportunities for profile raising through sponsorship and speaking opportunities
  • Working with key stakeholders on client development and client targeting initiatives
  • Overseeing client listening activities and providing feedback to partners
  • Working closely with international BD peers and teams to ensure a joint up approach and sharing ideas and information
  • Supporting on firmwide projects

The successful candidate for this role will require:

  • Strong previous BD experience gained in a law firm or wider professional services environment
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A results driven, solutions orientated, proactive approach
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
