We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join a leading global manufacturer of metal packaging. This role is perfect for someone who has a hands-on approach and is looking to be part of a dedicated engineering team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Work collaboratively within a small engineering team to maintain equipment reliability.
- Engage in project work and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate within a Monday to Friday schedule, from 6 am to 2 pm, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the metal packaging industry.
- A hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
- Dual-skilled capabilities, with a preference for candidates who are part electrician and part fitter.
- AutoCAD skills are beneficial, though not essential for the role.
