Reed Education are working with a large SEN trust of School who are seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join their nurturing community at one of their schools based in Croydon. This role is ideal for an individual who is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of children with Educational Health Care Plans and various types of additional needs. Day to Day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver inspiring lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEN across KS1 – KS4.
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression among students while managing a diverse and inclusive classroom.
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback and support to foster their artistic abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the school and the wider Trust to enhance the art curriculum and share best practices.
  • Contribute to the school's ethos and support initiatives that promote the welfare and development of all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the art curriculum and innovative teaching methods.
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
