We are recruiting for a full time opportunity and looking for an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join a busy team in Birmingham.
You will work with a number of clients to ensure all their requirements and expectations are achieved and will supported by a great team.
Your primary function will to be provide high quality accounting and auditing services.
- Deliver high quality services to corporate clients
- Review and prepare accounts, tax and VAT based work
- Remuneration planning
- Auditing - on client site/remotely
- Identify issues to be raised by partners
- Prepare final paperwork for HMRC
- Prepare client tax returns
- Advise on taxable payable and payment dates
- Ensure all deadlines are met
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to work to strict deadlines and manage your own time effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of all taxes
- Understanding of accounting systems - Clouding accounting such as Xero
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous experience working within an accounting practice
