Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and onboarding.

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Employee Relations:

Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.

Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion within the company.

Performance Management:

Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on performance improvement.

Support managers in setting goals and conducting performance reviews.

Compliance and Policy Development:

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.

Support career development and succession planning initiatives.

HR Administration:

Oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits, and record-keeping.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CIPD certification is a plus.
