Internal Sales Executive
Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Fully Office Based in Sittingbourne
Up to £30k Per Annum + Commission Structure
To assist and enhance the clients sales team function through sales and sales support of new and existing customers.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Deal with all incoming enquiries from new customers and pro-actively make outbound business development calls.
- Verify customer details, services required and price accordingly.
- Process all new contracts, schedule services and renewals
- Manage bookings, operations and customer services for all new customer services.
- Maintain CRM sales database throughout sales process.
- Create quotes, proposals, cost comparisons and contractual agreements.
- Process rebates for all customers and other accounts when required, including preparing data, raising POs and reconciling invoices.
- Arrange subcontract work and maintain the database for subcontractors, including billing the customer, signing off the subcontractor invoices and reconciling purchase invoices.
- Quote, record and bill ad-hoc work, including services such as fly tips and Tanker services, on receipt of request from the customer.
- Review and reconcile client accounts including credit control, purchase invoice reconciliation and credits.
- Ensure all data is captured accurately and appropriately so that it may be used to generate effective reports.
- Provide detailed reports, including rebates, to customers on a monthly/weekly basis, including recycling percentages when required.
- Ensure all documents for the Sales Department are kept up-to-date and accurate, including housekeeping of customer files.
- Generate 'Duty of Cares' as required.
- Support the Sales Department with ad-hoc duties, as required.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, HR, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.
Experience/ Skills required:
- Experience in a sales environment or similar
- Administration experience
- Strong customer service ethos
- Effective communicator across all business levels both for external and internal customers
- Computer literate (emails, MS Office)
- Ability to work under own initiative, or as part of a team.
- Maths & English - GCSE (or equivalent)
- Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly Organised
- Fast and eager learner
- Good telephone manner
