We are looking for EHCP writers to join an East Midlands based local authority to help with a backlog of plans. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with plan writing experience.
Some highlights:
- £250 a day rate
- Fully remote role
- 3 months initial contract
Duties and responsibilities:
- Statutory work relating to EHC needs assessment, planning and review in accordance with legislative requirements and local policy and practice.
- Interpret sensitive and complex information from professional assessments related to individual children's special educational needs, health requirements, and social care needs.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and accurate EHC plans.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of children and young people with special
educational needs and disabilities
- Experience working in a local authority setting is essential
