GSL Education Kent is currently on the lookout for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and creative Math Teacher to join our team for immediate placement at Client Schools in Dover. As a Math Teacher, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to ignite the minds of young learners, fostering a love for mathematics and equipping them with essential skills for future academic and professional endeavours.

As a Math Teacher, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan, teach, and assess the Math Curriculum
  • Demonstrate confidence in teaching Mathematics
  • Select and acquire suitable books, instructional aids, and school supplies as required
  • Implement the school's behaviour management policy effectively
  • Foster independence in students
  • Provide exceptional levels of safeguarding and pastoral care
  • Take responsibility for pupil attainment

Requirements for the innovative Math Teacher role:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching certifications
  • Have a degree in subject area
  • Be passionate about their subject area
  • Proven experience as a Math Teacher at the secondary school level.
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
  • A full checkable work history
