Description
- Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and necessary repairs.
- Maintain machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Respond to emergency call-outs to repair critical machinery.
- Work in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to implement new machinery installations.
- Document maintenance schedules and machinery performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
The successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Worked in a similar manufacturing role previously.
- Ideally a 50:50 mechanical/electrical bias.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic equipment for repairs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies quickly.
- A relevant engineering qualification.
Job Offer
- An attractive hourly rate of £20 - 30 (inside IR35)
- Days based - 8.30am - 4.30pm
