As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils. You will play a key role in helping children of all abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), to thrive in a positive and engaging classroom.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Be passionate about working with children and supporting their educational development
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Show empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding practices and the needs of primary school-aged children
