Healix are seeking a HR Consultant to join our fantastic, growing HR team. As HR Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor and partner to managers and leaders across the Healix Group, providing expert generalist HR advice, guidance and support . This is an exciting opportunity to have an impact and gain great experience across all areas of HR for our UK and International offices.

This role will be based in our Esher office, and you will be required to travel to our office in Bristol from time to time.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience in a similar role or is looking to take the next step in their career within HR. As HR Consultant you will be happy to both get stuck in with operational and administrative tasks, as well as being able to influence and support the generation and the delivery of our people strategy.

The HR Consultant will:

  • Have experience of providing support and solution focused advice to managers and leaders at all levels across the full range of employee relations areas
  • Have an empathetic style with strong influencing skills
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have confidence to work independently, using your own initiative to make practical and considered decisions;
  • Be resilient and be able to see the positive outcomes in situations
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Have detailed knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Be CIPD qualified (level 5 or above)
  • Have experience in working with HR Information Systems

About The Role

The HR Consultant's main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To be a credible HR subject matter expert. To maintain and continually develop a strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice as it relates to all aspects of people management and the employment relationship.
  • To have and develop up to date knowledge of current HR, ER matters, changes in legislation and best practice guidance.
  • To develop strong, pro-active partnerships with people managers and leaders to be able to partner the business on the full range of commercial, strategic and operational HR areas.To support people managers with all operational HR related issues including; Resourcing, Employee Relations, Engagement, Talent Management, Performance Management, Change Management, TUPE and other relevant areas effectively considering organisational risk at all stages. Providing credible advice in line with Group policies and procedures, recommending development where relevant.

Required Criteria

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working in a generalist HR role
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Detailed knowledge of UK employment law and best practice

Desired Criteria

  • CIPD Qualified
