Location: North Ferriby, East Yorkshire

Remuneration: £33,945 per annum

Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract until July 31, 2025

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, a well-established educational institution, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and operation of financial procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

Utilise your accountancy qualification and up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations to ensure compliance with Companies Act, Charities SORP, VAT, and PAYE/NIC regulations.
Prepare essential financial reports, including management accounts, budget-to-actual reports, and key reconciliations.
Interact with auditors and provide them with accurate and timely information.
Demonstrate high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, along with exceptional IT skills.
Analyse and interpret financial data to inform decision-making processes.

Requirements:

A minimum of AAT Level 3 qualification (preferably AAT level 4 or above) in accountancy.
Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and processes.
Proven experience in preparing management accounts, budget plans, and reports.
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to analyse, interpret, and utilise financial data effectively.
