Finance Assistant - Join a Thriving International Law Firm in Southampton!

We are seeking a motivated and organised Finance Assistant to join the Treasury and Cash Operations team in central Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the firm.
What you'll do:
- Process payments to clients and key suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Meticulously record all financial transactions in their accounting system
- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations in various foreign currencies across all bank account
- Liaise with partners/fee earners, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of client
monies in accordance with local country regulations
- Preparation of client monies statements for review and approval
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service to colleagues and external clients
What you'll bring:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
